Two weeks back, Vinda received a request from her friend that they required us to perform in a charity concert for the Fukushima 50. I was stunned when I heard it, not because of the concert but because of the time we had for preparation - less than 2 weeks! Songs were finalised in one week and in reality we only had for 1 week to practice all 6 songs - full songs, we are the world and sharing is great, and 4 backings - when you believe, change the world, that's the way it is and the impossible dream. And guess what, we manage to get all the songs even though not perfect but still up to a certain standard.
The rehearsal started at 2pm… well due to some last minute packing, I arrived late like half an hour lol… but lucky that the whole team was not up for the rehearsal and things only get going at around 3 i guess. We only get to rehearse like for once but thankfully everything went well but not perfect LoL… some glitches but as we only got two weeks to prepare, it is considered good i guess lol… An experience and a thing to add into the things to remember as we all got to sing alongside with Howard McCrary and Jern Jern… :-)
