Relief~ful happy Day

Time to de-stress after rushing my ENC paper and presentation slides yesterday. The paper is due today so too was my presentation. Today was my first time giving SSDS (Student Staff Development Seminar) and was also my chance to practice presenting my paper before the real conference in Italy! Well I hadn't have enough time to actually practice it yesterday as i just managed to finish the slides around 1-2am last night... tired tired tired and what else haha. So today my presentation was very crappy, unprepared and can't explain clearly and smoothly. I myself felt so shy when I hear myself present and my head was thinking gosh y this person present so badly, who wanna listen right? Not much questions were asked during the Q&A session and some comments were given from some staffs. Thank them a lot for that. I will do better in Italy~ I hope so! Oh yes 17 mins was my clock, just 2 minutes outside the allowed timing so there I have it, I have to practice more and more until i can even present my slides with my eyes closed! All the best!

Other than the presentation, I was lazying the whole day chatting in my office wahaha. Better not get caught if not I'll be dead meat haha. Hmm chatting with Kuan boss who explains to me on badminton techniques which makes me so eager to play badminton. Thanks Kuan for the advices. And there is Jocelyn Miss Fragile who i am chatting to as well. The chatting was very easy going and fun today and i was able to know more about her and break the ice faster than ever. 

6.30pm dinner time wuhuu~ Jocie and  I went to the Japanese/Korean restaurant that she introduced to me this afternoon. I never knew there was this restaurant until today haha. Pinocchio along the anzac parade!! Heard of it? It is situated beside Singapore Laksa only haha! Yup both of us have the set meals together and she ordered beef set while i ordered chicken teriyaki! We chat while eating so the environment is not that boring, still ok i would say hehe. It took me quite a long time to finish my dinner, gosh i guess should be because I was so stressed out yesterday and the feeling is still there today. But slowy and gently I finish my sushi as well of course with Jocie's help haha. Arigatou Jocie. Wuuhuu 89 degree is where we head to next as Jocie planned to grab a bun for supper. Cheese buns? yup haha 1 of them pls :) Chi'ing off we head to McDonald's for some Ice Cream. Then send her back home! Done for the day~~ Happy and Relieved! 

I had a BAD"minton" day~~~ !

Ah the song~~~ Bad day! Gosh wake up early at 7am to play badminton with Kuan, Lai, Mei Ling, Qimyi, Iris, Jocie and 2 of her friends, Kok wai and me, 10 people. It was fun with the badminton even-though i lose all rounds haha.. but still fun .. Nevermind about the Win or lose thing, games are for fun and health! Then we all have our breakfast at McD. I was trying hard to get words out of my mind to talk with Jocie but it seems to be a very tough job. I am speechless and i seems like I am a cold stupid idiot sitting there munching by Mcbreakfast! Gosh help me, where can i find more words!!! 

Well the heavy rain doesn't stop us from doing our grocery shopping. Hopped onto kok wai's car with Kuan and qimyi and off we go to Bondi Junction for lunch n grocers! Had what Kuan mentioned the "Indian"! Not exactly good but not bad as well for the indian food in the "expensive" food court! We walked around, uhmm mostly into electronics shops, pss... see how tech savvy we are, who call we are all engineers, electrical ones to be exact!! I got myself an 8gb pendrive to replace the 4gb one that i have lost last week during my gps data collection trip in the city! Alright cut the crab and coles is next! Yup we managed to get food which will last us for the week lol and that's all for coles wakaka.

Got backed from coles around 6pm and was feeling superbly tired but with the amount of work that is still left undone, I started opening my ENC paper to edit... but after a few minutes, I felt that my bed is calling me haha! I am off for my nap which take almost 1 hour and manged to wake up at 7.30pm. Gosh bowling bowling at 8pm and i have yet taken my dinner so rushed to cook the rice and postpone the bowling time to 8.30pm.

Yea here comes 8.30pm time for bowling, it was actually tiring (a bit) to have done so many things during the day. Oh yes namelist for the night: Kok wai, Qimyi, Jocelyn, Meiling, Wu Chuan, Lee Ann and me (7 in total)! I totally lose in bowling.. not my field! what's more to say? haha oh yes Jocie's quite good, she can always throw in the same straight line, Qimyi and Meiling are always the cream of the crop, even when they are not in form, you still can see good proper techniques shown there, just like watching pro play on tv. Lee Ann got a weird but pretty catchy bowling technique, very cool indeed! Wu Chuan, what can i say, he keeps scoring better and better frame by frame haha! 

We finished our game around 11.15pm, Meiling and Jocie both decided to go coles in randwick for some late night grocer spree haha. Then we all headed off for some Pie in Metraview. Not bad for the pie i can say, I ordered a Chicken and Mushroom pie and we all ate there in the shop. Then there came a group of weird people who were there for the pie as well. One of the lady approached Jocie and grabbed her hand... wow what is she trying to do :S.... me n qimyi were both stunted!! I didn't get the time to react and there Wu Chuan came to save the day!! Ah that makes me even more stupid!! Why didn't i react quickly? Why why why!!! This made me very angry about myself! I should have done something at least! Till now i still feel sad and sour!!! Ahhh hope she's fine!!  YK you have gotta put in more effort and courage and react quickly and talk more!!! All the best and as my motto, never give up!!!  Cheers for the bad day! 

MSO Party @ Space Night 11-04-09

Yup yup you got that right! I went to MSO party aka clubbing with Kok Wai. So its only the two of us monkeys among all my friends that i know go. Quite interesting to go to club sometimes as you can see different things from the usual boring stuffs! Do i enjoy last night? Uhmm a couple of yeses and oso nos. Well basically me and kok wai can't really do anything there as one of the reason is that both of us knew too little friends there. How i wish i can be more open just like the song “放開你的心" by lee hom. Sang that song but I am actually quite locked up inside. Hopefully someday someday! Well one of the reason to attend this MSO party was partly, i hate to say this, but yea it is ~ Jocie haha. Well managed to see her and have some words with her plus some complimentary photo snaps as well using her pinkish sony cybershot camera! Ah I know it is weird that me n kok wai both guys go to the dance floor and dance.. but what else can we do besides drinking and playing pool that night ? hahaha.. Well cool day after all and i have to admit i like clubbing a bit bit lo hahaha~~~~ till the next update then Cheers! and popi popi Jocie to play badminton with us tomorrow oh from 8-10am but i think this hardly happens! Well just keep my finger crossed who knows hehe!

K Session with a J on it!

An update after a long week of preparing slides, editing paper n stuffs. Italy plan is still in progress, it is a tough job to plan trip.. and considering that i don't have a gps unit, it is surely going to give me a great headache when i am lost. Just pray that everything works out fine!!

I went out to Sydney city centre for some data collection session with Binghao from 2.30 till 6pm. Well we managed to get some pretty data on the good side but on the other hand i found out that i've lost my usb drive. Gosh that's a lot of data in it (personal and work)!!! well there are backups of my research materials on my computer but not all backups of my personal files!! :'( omg wu~~~~~

Well 9th of April is considered a good day i suppose! Getting to meet an old friend ~ George Lam, a uni friend who joined the Australian Navy. Nice to see him in good shape :) What's next, wooo sing k session! It had been a long time since i sang in front so many people - 9 to be exact; and too the first time getting nervous since i came back to sydney this year! Yeah nervous is good as it reminds me of the older days where we, the  LWSSOM gang perform, but I spoil the first song because I am getting too nervous haha! That's is lost control hehe. Well we have  a new singer there last night  ~ Jocelyn or Jocie to be short! She got a sweet and cute voice and can she can sing pretty well! Hope to hear more from her as there were actually too many people in the k room last night and she only managed to sang a few songs which to me has classified those songs on the difficult list... so you know that she is really got something!! We went for supper after the K session at McD because Lai and Jocie were hungry and poor Jocie was hungry all the time during K... The day ended around 3.30am haha wuu huu~~ that was a late outing.

Okie that's today report for the most interesting K session when I came back this year!! A night to remember.. Hopefully i can play badminton later at Tempe!!! Please please show my name on the booking system! Thanks you hehe

April Fool's Day

Ah 1st of april of 2009. What a day what a day but there is nothing special happening to me except helping out qimyi with his Swarovski stock selling and buying game that his manager handed over to him, so i basically wake up early this morning just for some acting in Swarovski warehouse in Roseberry, Sydney haha. Quite funny but this is the first time i been into this warehouse. Not as what i had expected a warehouse to be, cuz it is way too small hahaha... Well I Didn't got tricked cause no one wanna play the trick on me... hai~~~ Well time for some short updates of what happened. Well the main thing that have me stressful is the preparation for italy conference. Travel funding arrangement, hotels and registering... arr gosh heavy loaded... writing and updating the result itself has already taken much of my time. In additional, there is this italy trip or tour that i shall have cuz who will spend a few thousand dollars to italy just for the 4 conference days right? yea so planning for italy holiday is also a big head breaker plus i am traveling alone if i am going to have holiday in italy. hmmm what else can i do? arr how i wish i got a friend in italy who can bring me around. Pray hard to get 1 as soon as possible lol.....

Ah Qimyi, Kokwai and me went for our karaoke session again.. haha at first i thought we can invite qimyi's junior, Mei Ling and her housemate, Jocelyn to the K but failed to do so.. Hope can have the chance to hear Jocie sing song. Pray hard!!! Anyway i sang all jay chou song last night... haha weird thing for me to do cause i am not so into jay but still i hope i can conquer a few of his song so that i can at least join his upcoming competition here in sydney. Wish me luck guys.

This week is going to be a busy week as usual and tele4653 lab 2 is coming and guess what, it is long again just like lab 1. Wow Alex is really giving all the students a really hard time. And today's 2 hours trying out of this lab 2 got me n qimyi no where so you can imagine... we lab demonstrators ourselves are having a hard time, what's more for the students... pray hard and pity them hahaha. All the best lo :)

Ah that's today basically... 11 pm so... another 1 hour before the April fool's day come to a halt.. So someone please please or at least play a some joke on me haha. lol tqtq.. Byezz
